Dinner from Elite fish and chips in Ruskington it is then :D There's a nice spot just up the road to eat it ;) ;)

All we need now is nice weather, looking a bit miserable at the moment, hope it changes.

is a better map but doesn't show as much of the sortie - go to the drop down box on the right hand side and click Thursday 21st and zoom in.

C U there DEE. IF we manage to get in. getting up at 5:30 to be on the B road south of Waddington to turn left onto A15 and Pave at about 7:30. Then have to do what we did for the show - drive upo and down until someone lets us in. Failing that we will head straight to Metherinham and be early. Have plenty of grub and laptop to play with while we wait.

a bit of info re tomorrow from the CWHM facebook page, just really reinforeces what we already know but thought I would post it anyway:

Starting at RAF Waddington, both Lancasters and Vulcan depart the airport and then fly a box pattern to the southwest/west of Lincoln to form up. Then they will fly over the turf cutting ceremony for the new Bomber Command Memorial and on to Metheringham, RAF Coningsby and then a st...raight line to RAF Marham. From there, the Vulcan will head to Clacton for its display slot, and it will be followed by the Lancasters, which will have met up with the BBMF fighters by this time, for their own slot in the air show. The Vulcan will return home to Robin Hood while the Lancasters head to Southend to prepare for a weekend of air shows in the south of England. Timings for the flypasts will be between 2 and 4 pm.
