Ray C wrote:"Wow" that was low....! Or did you clip on a lens....?

It was fairly low, but they were cropped to take out some of the sky.
I only have a small bridge camera with a fixed lens. Fujifilm Finepix S5800 S800

Originals before cropping.

:)) no idea why they were here didn't hear any sirens or see any blue flashing lights.

The Reds flew over about 30 minutes ago in formation - that twice in 10 days - we don't normally get to see them over head that often, I wonder if there been a change to the routing.

Edit:and the Reds again at 19.00 off to Heckington or Cranwell I would think

Saw the B17 this afternoon over Spalding near Chain Bridge Forge heading back to Duxford, and just now had the Cat fly over, heading back to Duxford as well. Couple of photos taken.

A friend of mine on Facebook spotted a Spitfire flying today and took a photograph. Code on the side was KL B.
Any idea on where it is based, and what Mark it is? Don't think it is a BBMF one.

KL-B was Al Deere's Spit that was hit by Squire's Spit (KL-A) in a training sortie over Yorkshire in 1940. If the one your friend saw was KL-B it was this one based at Audley End. Needless to say, it isn't the original.

In that case it is the one at Audley end which is an 80% scale kit Spit.

This is the link to the AAIB's report on the accident it suffered on first flight.
