1) I know that some people don't like music with their aircraft videos, but I think this time it enhances the video, so much so that it is one of my favourites.

2) Couldn't figure out how to put the video on this site, hence the URL ~x(

3)Please be aware that it does not open a new window - press the back button on your browser, otherwise if you use the x in the corner, you will be out of Iconic Aircraft too. Better to right click the link and choose "Open Link in New Window". Sorry, don't mean to teach you how to suck eggs.

On the bar of options when your writing a post , click on youtube and paste the embed link [if the clip has one , some dont (you have to click on more info on the description of the clip to get it)] between the 2 sets of brackets like your posting a url or pic ;)
Hope thats helped and not made the confussion worse :)

Heres yours RLN B-)

Great vid , one of my first favs B-)

Cluny, I did that with the youtube thingy, but when I had done it I just got a white square where the video should have been. I think it was a problem with my Flash player. Last time I had a problem with that, I got arrested ;)

Love the Mosquitoes. It has to be my favourite plane of WW2, oh and the Spit and Lanc. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition 8-}

when you want to post an embedded youtube link:

1) find the youtube clip you want

2) click in the "Embed" bar so that the text within it highlights in blue...

Image

3) go into your post text editor (where you type your posts before pressing "SUBMIT")

4) use CTRL + V to paste the link
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RtfHk_1QaHY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RtfHk_1QaHY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

5) then highlight the link you've just pasted (pic below)

and...

6) press the "youtube" button above (arrowed) to make the link look like this:
Image

when you use the "PREVIEW" button, it may initially look like a white square but, once loaded, it'll look as it should.

hope that helps RLN :)

edit: bloody photobucket messing about - i'll fix the screenshots asap X(

Try posting it and when you get the white box, wait and see if other users get the white box or the video ... it could be your flash player, but I dont want to rule out it being my programming being quirky ... I did the youtube links myself ~x(

SM - mind if I copy your instructions? B-)
