Upgrade to Image Handling

Postby Wedgy » Sun Jan 22, 2012 11:05 am

I've upgraded the software which handles images that are larger than IA (the zoom in and out functions etc). Not sure if anyone noticed, but they have been a little buggy over the last few months.

If anyone notices anything odd - post here :)

Sadly, it hasn't made any difference to my computer's inability to display Flikr links correctly. :(

The latest poster giving me the same trouble is Shrek. ~x(

Have an old laptop running XP with IE8 and cannot see anything wrong with flickr posts.

What java version are you running?

What's the max image size this site can handle?. I load from Photobucket at 1024x800(ish) and sometimes I get 2 'zoom in' +'s but usually only one will open.

I'll try a 1024x1024 .. BTW is there any technical reason why my images definitely appear clearer on here than most other sites?

Just done that and it didn't make any difference.

Problem only happens if the post has the img codes buried within url codes. The pic are displayed overlaying each other and out of sync with any associated text.

Now I'm even more confused. ~x(

Last Lightning's pics here display fine, but Shrek's pics here are overlapping and messed up, but if I use my moderator's edit access to read the underlying code, I can't see the difference.

It doesn't make sense to me, but then these days very little does. :( :( :((

Sooty the only difference I can see when looking via the mod editing feature is LL has a space between his photos Shrek doesn't they are linked by a photo number, you could try putting a space in between the photos and see if that makes a difference.
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson
