New posts in pic-heavy threads

Postby Sooty655 » Wed Nov 03, 2010 6:35 pm

When I use the "Display new posts" button in a pic-heavy thread, the screen goes to the new post, but then pushes it down as the pics load into the screen, so the new post disappears below the displayed area.

Damned annoying when I have to scroll down through miles of pics I have already seen.

Do I need to change something in my settings, or is it a "feature" of the board software?

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Tried that - nothing there that seems to help. :(

Me too, I guess we either put up with it, AVOID the Pic heavy threads or set a limit of 15 pictures in any one post!!!!! ;)

Don't think that would work - folks would just spread the pics over more posts, but the page length would be about the same. :(
