When our Esteemed Guests do something they're
not supposed to on here, they receive what
amounts to a Very Stern Warning that they've
touched a button or lever which they are NOT
AUTHORIZED TO USE.....

Why not re-write these Blunt Admonitions so
that they become more of a Friendly Invitation
to enlist as a Jolly Forumeer? Make them a little
(or a lot...) Humo(u)rous?

This would certainly be more in keeping with
the overall "Tone" of this place.

Whaddya Think??????????

Sounds like a good idea Danforth; gentle persuasion works every time over blunt commands

I couldn't agree more. Being given an order like that is enough to scare some people away rather than inviting them in.

I will have a look at this for the next upgrade to 3.0.6

Although, remember 75% of 'guests' are actually 'bots' and I'll be damned if I am going to be polite to a computer =))
