Ribblesdale Viaduct

I normally don't do trains,But, the walk around this Viaduct-area is quite [Stunning].
and to cap it all there were some trains crossing, sorry for the compact camera quality ..... ;)

Some years' ago I did a guided walk around there with the remains of the navvies' camp being pointed out.
Everything from engine shed pit to brickworks.
I'd rather be skiing

a family friend of Jan`s had his ashes scattered from that viaduct, one bit of engineering I have yet to see
