My LAST Trip Out with My FATHER

Postby Xplumberlives » Fri Apr 20, 2012 8:16 pm

Three weeks before he died from a massive heart attack, I took my Father to West Malling in Kent for the September 1987 Airshow, as we walked on to the airfield 474 landed over us!

Excellent, The year before my dad died I managed to blag a look round the Lanc at Hendon. The Assistant curator was very interested to talk to someone who built/maintained/certified them fit for flight. Me......... I clambered all over the A/c. God almighty, there's not a lot of space in them.
Great day out. :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
