Been following this on another forum :-$ and it looks promissing. Once they sort out paying back the bonds then fingers crossed....

Great news, now that it has become an 'official intent' (having been 'kicked around' for a while). The benefit will be that they can use a lot of the new (very expensive) patterns which had to be made for Tornado's castings, on a P2, as they are the same as used on an A1. This will help reduce costs and makes it more viable to build another locomotive.

Now that IS a bit of good news - I'd love to see them do another - and a Gresley P2 ... Nice :D

All that experience and the moulds they made being re-used - and everyone knowing what a success the A1 was - next one should be a breeze - brilliant :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
