I remember going to Woodhams in the mid 70's. I remember D6122 being there and D601 Ark Royal - now I am a fan of both steam and diesel - its a shame we lost these two.

'Tangmere' has a Main Line Excursion today, from London Victoria to Swanage (my favourite place) and return. This was rescheduled a while ago from Saturday 18th June. Here are all the 'Timings', etc:

'Tangmere' is on another London Victoria to Swanage and return to London Waterloo (?) 'Cathedrals Express' Excursion on Thursday 30th June (with 'Class 8F' Locomotive 48151 on the 'Swanage-Eastleigh-Salisbury' leg of the return run). For current 'Timings' and Route, click on the link below:
