We had about 1/2 inch this morning in sunny WGC. But now we have about a foot - it is very pretty and I'm glad I don't have to work.

We've had flurries here this week but nothing of any consequence for the last month but it is very cold.

What a beautiful day!

It's ages since I can remember a sunny, warm and pleasant day such as we've had today. Spent most of it in the garden :)

What's your figure today for hrs/mins of
daylight?????

Where I am we're up to 13 hrs 57 mins,
but I suspect you surpass that by now ;)

It's a great relief to have nice, long days.....

It lingers here as well, but it's just so
good to have daylight for more than
just a few hours per day....

It's WORSE for you guys than for me
around December time, but Bad Enuff!!!!!!!

My personal state of mind is much
better this time of year :D

And I even have one of those special
lights to use, too, but it doesn't help
much at all.......

Cheers to all for Ye Merry Month Of MAY!!!!!

Now turned back to miserable flat cloud here mostly, although will apparently clear up by the weekend...

...I've already started with the sunburn too! Spent Saturday outside and had rather red arms and neck when I came back home!

I don't like the hot weather but for some reason this year [so far] it's not affecting me as badly as it normally does.

However - my pond needs topping up and the lawn is brown!! ~x(

Voice of Experience, here::::::::

Make sure you get someone to install it FOR
you, Ace, as they are a B***H to install, even
for people who are "Handy" like you and me :p...

And get a good one, too, as the cheapo ones
are pure, unadulterated C**P!

Thanks for the advice Dan4th,to DIY or not to DIY ? that is the question, whether tis nobler in the main to suffer the shocks and anguish ( and charges ) of outrageous electricians or to take arms and screwdrivers against a sea of probable troubles and by opposing them save a few groats !

:)) :)) :)) :))

All you really need is someone who has
put up a few in the past and knows the
pitfalls....

You might also get some good advice
for how to pick one out as well :)

It's one of those cases where a little
extra spent up front pays off bigtime
over the years....

I have fans in two of my four bedrooms,
and Pam is correct that they are a great
thing to have and far cheaper than A/C....
