Snowed overnight and still hasn't stopped. We are cut off at Bolehill Farm (Go look it up on google maps). The main road down to Bakewell is shut. the A 623 through sparrow pitt is blocked. Every where appears to be shut off. About 4" of snow but drifting up to the height of the dry stone walling (4'+).

Happy Easter everyone.

NO snow here, even the rain has stopped, time to nip out for some milk, coffee is needed!

We have sleet and wet stuff here, but we are in the vale of York so it blows over the top of us. go out of the vale of York ( 5 miles) and its great.... full of snow.

Still bloody snowing..........

Visibility improving and we can see the main road.
Nothing appears to be getting through though.

Very scenic but novelty value had diminished to zero now.

Looking at the 6ft drifts they've just shown on the news I'm not surprised there were road closures.

You could get them a show, on one of those obscure cable channels, predicting the weather

It was so nice here yesterday I spent 2hrs cleaning and titivating my fish pond, then all went down hill and rained all afternoon. Started out the same today and looks like it will follow the same path - starting to cloud over. :(
