Hello From Winchester

Postby Hydealfred » Fri Jun 10, 2011 10:24 am

Hello all just checking in from the far South. I have been a keen follower of things aviation since the early 1980's. I attend many airshows each year and regularly visit active airfields with my trusty Nikons. Looking forwards to contributing to the site and enjoying others experiences.

All the best.

Hi Richard welcome to IA.

What airshows have you earmarked for this season?

Thanks - I have been to Abingdon & Bruntingthorpe so far this year. Coming up is Kemble - Yeolvilton - RIAT - Shoreham and possibly Waddington. I also try and do a few fly ins as these are often good at getting those more unusual shots. I have spent a bit of time at Lyneham this week trying to get a few shots before it closes.

Thank you all very much for the welcome - what a friendly site.

PW - a fellow railway man - I used to work on the Mid Hants and know Swanage well. In 1992 we took the Mid Hants Class 27 there.

Again all thanks for the welcome.
