Hello from Bolton

Postby Terryjones » Thu May 12, 2011 10:46 pm

Hi,
Came across this very fine website recently. Been into aviation since I was a kid. The wife says I'm an anorak and more interested in aeroplanes than I am in her.......... :)

Been painting various aviation subjects for many years and would like to show some of my work on the site.

Cheers,

Terry

Not sure if this is the right place to post a pic. but here goes.
There's something about these old aircraft I find really attractive. This is of course the Bristol F2B Fighter in combat with a number of Pfalz. Flown by Lt D J Weston with Lt W Noble as observer both received a DFC for this action being credited with shooting down three of the Pfalz. Weston finished the war with 13 victories and Noble finished with 12.
Hope you like it, all comments are of course welcome.

Looks like a 'standard' medium to me Pam.
Could be a 'small' medium of possibly a 'large' medium though.

What do you fellow forumeers think??
