Welcome to IA

Is that HHA of the Bucc fame as well as Hunters?
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

it is indeed and of course the only civ owned SU22 Fitter. We are also the only company in uk operating Hunters on the military register, trials work, threat simulation, combat air support training, etc etc.

Bucc will fly again if we get a military requirement/contract which makes her viable to return to flight condition, There is no sensible justification to invest the large amounts of funds required for airshow appearances as there is no viable gain. We are a business after all but you never know anything could happen. Meanwhile we keep her systems exercised and on a anti det maintenance schedule.

I personally think that XX885 could be a large crowd puller at an airshow. With the demise of Thunder City where else are you likely to see such an iconic sight as a flying Buccaneer?

Mick I think you will find that there are thousands of enthusiasts who would pay good money to see XX885 fly but I appreciate that you need a sound (ie more permanent), economic business case first.

Completely agree with you Ian (nice pic btw mate)
Like you I also see both sides of this though (although if Oli ever won the lottery I know where he would head to).

But it is probably fair to say that the amount you would pay would be a bit less than it would cost HHA Eng to make it happen. ;)

I suspect you'll find that an "average" lottery win wouldn't be enough. :))
