What's the best cheap(ish) game for a beinner guys?

To be perfectly honest I would go straight in with FSX Gold. There is no point buying a cheap one as they don't have the content. FSX has tonnes of addons now and it is the one that most people use. It is for all abilities I would recommend it 100%.

And it is not even that expensive anymore!

I definately agree with TDC. I'd never touched a flight sim before I purchased FSX Gold and I definately made the RIGHT choice. Try adding this to your shopping basket:

Its perfect for use in FSX and also comes pre-configured for FSX so you don't have to worry about settings. I love it and you can split the joystick in 2, so you can have the throttle in the left hand and stick in your right without feeling to uncomfortable. Its quite literaly "Plug & Play" :-BD
