Must've been your Murkin Cousin, Dave :))

Thank you Mr W.

I'm not sure whether the story is getting through!

The assumption that a rifle was used to "SHOOT DOWN" the prying RC aeroplane is a little odd, I suspect that's a CLAY PIGEON club, where shotguns are used.

This is the Wing Pointe Club website.

Here is a list of club rules:

Open Wed.-Sun
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Closed Mon. & Tues. Year round.

No shot size over 7.5

No alcoholic beverages allowed before or during hunts or shoots.

Blaze orange hat & vest must be worn on all hunts.
Use safety glasses & hearing protection.

No rifle or pistol fire are allowed.

Shot gun fire only.

I also suspect the only pigeons that
are shot at this place are of the CLAY
variety......

I'm glad you understood the point I was making!

Shame about the treehuggers though, there was a similar case over here many years ago when a protest was started against a CLAY PIGEON shooting club and the members stoked it somewhat by publicly asking for a recipe for the CLAY PIGEONS that they had shot! :-o

It really beggars beleif that the treehuggers don't do just a little research! ~x(

Brilliant!

I loved all of it but especially the lass that pushed the button and then just stood at the lectern and watched the "DRAMA" unfold around her!
