This year we will experience 4 unusual dates.... 1/1/11......1/11/11.....11/1/11..........11/11/11 ....

NOW go figure this out.... Take the last 2 digits of the year you were born plus the age you will be on your birthday this year and it WILL EQUAL TO 111...

This does work for everybody !!!!!!!!*

*Born before the year 2000............

Is it me or are we missing something here?

If you want to work out someone's year of birth you simply subtract their age from the current year and, hey presto, job done!

The only difference here is that you're not using 19xx for the date of birth nor 2011 for the current year.

If you'd tried this last year you'd have got 110 doing the same thing so what's so surprising?

So:
Since your date of birth (dob) = 2011 - age
and thus:
dob - 1900 = 111 - age
with the conclusion that:
(dob - 1900) + age = 111
