Well you might have, I had already developed a taste for Vintage Port and Châteauneuf du Pape! :D

[-x You know perfectly well I don't drink!! Apart the very odd liqueur :D

:))

I watched Turner & Hooch last night as well, had some terrible nightmares about being pinned to the floor by a slobbering dog!

We used to drink Blue Nun at Xmas, surprised it didn't put me off wine for life it was that vile!

Reminds me of the Piat d'Or wine ad where they used to say about the French loving it. I asked a French friend if she loved it and she'd never heard of it so I guess the French love it because they can pass it off to us English and keep the good stuff to themselves!

Now as for Châteauneuf-du-Pape, well there's a nice bottle of wine ... unless, of course you repeat a trick of mine several years ago and bring back a whole case from france only to find it's corked ... :ymblushing: :(( ~X( ... best coq au vin I ever tasted!!
I'm English, and as such I crave disappointment

I'm sure thay do, but knicking a Harrier is perhaps taking things a little too far!
