Companies not placing an order I made last Friday because they want 'to verify who I am'' how does speaking to a total stranger do that? X( I provided the CC, contact number and all details.

My CC company already blocked the transaction because it was 'unusual' and I had to ring them to approve it. ~x( ~x( ~x(

I'm all for security but why they leave it until I rang to check on the order before letting me know they haven't even placed it yet. 4 days bloody wasted!! ~x(

The "Pumpkin" plant that I bought in March is flowering and is not a pumpkin plant :( it's a courgette/marrow :( I don't like courgettes/marrows :(
I want my £3.99 back! The label says it's supposed to be a pumpkin :(

Having a photo idea involving an old military bridge, going there to try it out and finding out that it has recently been enclosed in 6 foot high spiked fence and 'closed off due to poor condition' ...everyone's so boring nowadays!

Not being a structural engineer, I would guess that sign is intended to prevent somebody getting buried under a few tons of masonry. Better to be boring than dead.

It's fair enough since it's on public land - it just never used to be shut off I don't think...

Also my shower is winding me up at the moment, just a slow trickle of water and limescale rather than a shower!

Take the showerhead off and soak it in a solution of very hot water and Ataka. Only ever seen it in Boots. but it is far better than the stuff you can normally get such as Viakal etc. Don't need to use too much and it is quick. It is formic acid (the same stuff as in ant stings) so give it a good rinse before using it. You may have to use a pin to get the scale out of the holes, but so long as the head is submerged it should do the job. I use it on our kettle once a month, even though we filter the water, and it is completely clean in under a minute. Used to use it on our showerhead too, but it must be submerged and the water should be straight from your hot tap at least, but don't use boiling water as plastic showerheads may get damaged by the temperature. You don't need to use much, but it depends on how badly the head is scaled up

I saw the trailer for the 2nd one just before, that's what irritated me :)) :))

Lets see, first, I still do not understand WHY there are 3 movies, well ok, I do, money. But I read the hobbit, the whole book, on the drive back from holiday to the new forest (I bought it from the shop on site just before we went home), and I am a slow reader. My copy is shorter than Fellowship which had 1 movie!.
I've been reading about all the extra 'padding' that they have added.
Legolas - OK, he's Thranduil's son, but why does he need to be in these movies? It's not a cameo either apparently.
Tauriel - I don't even know where to start with her.
She's an original character who's there because the decision was made that the film needed a strong female part (???). There is apparently a love story involved with her.
I just don't understand.
What is wrong with just telling the story!
I do understand that it might have needed 2 movies, but having to put in extra story to stretch it out just doesn't seen right to me.

I'm a big The Lord of the Rings/Tolkien fan, tLotR is one of my favourite book(s), I have three copies, my main paper back, a set of three instalments/book with the movie still on the front and a huge hardback illustrated version that my mum got me for my birthday a few years back that is illustrated by one of the gentlemen whose paintings inspired the sets for the movies (I forget his name).
The movies were pretty good too, but I'm starting to worry that the Hobbit films aren't going to be as good, I wasn't that keen on part one, which I've been looking forward to for YEARS. And the trailer for the 2nd part doesn't make me feel better.
BUT I want to be proved wrong on all accounts!! hopefully it will all make sense when it's released and I'll really like it. Even the pointless new character.

OK rant over :))

Going on FSX, for the first time in ages and doing a long range flight from Waddington to Gioia Del Colle in a Nimrod. Had been flying for about 3 hours and was just over the middle of italy when suddenly... fatal error and FSX crashes...
